Predictive Power of Five-Factor Mentoring Model on Student Teachers’ Teaching Self-Efficacy Beliefs

<p style="text-align: justify;">This study investigated student teachers’ teaching self-efficacy level and factors that predict it (using five-factor mentoring model). Two hundred ten third fourth-year teachers (N=100/N=110; 93.8% females) were involved in the asked to complete a self-report questionnaire. The “Mentoring for Effective Primary Teaching” instrument “Teachers' Sense of Efficacy Scale” used collect data. Findings indicated higher levels teachers' are positively associated with experience during practicum. results found students reported significantly than third-year students. This there is significant mean difference beliefs terms having parents profession. A multiple regression mentor personal attributes best predictor beliefs.</p>
